The Standards Update Course is designed for the camp director or staff member who has been actively involved in the preparation of materials and the on-site visit at an ACA-accredited camp in the recent past. A person completing the ACA Standards Course on behalf of a camp is expected to actively assist the camp in preparation for the accreditation visit, be on site a significant amount of time during the camp season, and participate fully in the on-site accreditation visit. Due to revisions to the standards in September 2014, a camp representative must complete a standards course or standards update course, October 2014 or later, before an accreditation visit can occur. There is no charge for this course, and ACA membership is not required. Meals and lodging are not provided as part of the course. Attendees of other courses that are part of the Camp All Saints Regional Staff Training Event will need to register separately for all other trainings, as well as meals/lodging.
If you plan to attend any other courses as part of Camp All Saints' Regional Training Event, or need meals/lodging, please be sure to register directly with the camp.
Please bring your camp's copy of the Accreditation Process Guide, 2012 Edition. (A few copies of the standards book will be available to borrow and share during the course, but we appreciate your bringing your own if you can.)
